Prerequisite: must have permission from instructor, dogs must be able to do weaves and the teeter.

BEyond the basics AGILITY  6:15 pm

DOGS MUST HAVE A RELIABLE RECALL and stay with their  handler.  This class is for dogs that have successfully completed the introduction to agility class and are COMPLETELY comfortable on the equipment.  Please note: Dogs that do not stay with their handler WILL NOT be allowed to advance to the upper classes.

Introduction to agility 7:30 pm

This class is for dogs and or handlers that are new to agility or the equipment.  Dogs in this class must be easily controlled on leash and should know the sit and down commands.

As with any dog training activity, agility takes time.  One should assume that they will be at any given level for several classes before being ready to move up.  Please understand it is NOT a reflection on the dog or their handler if they are not given permission to advance as quickly as they think they should.  You can always "challenge" a class and if you are ready and their is space in the class you will move up.

FIELD RENTAL/USAGE

The agility field is available for agility practice or just running and having fun with your dog in a safe fenced area.

For the safety reasons ONLY DOGS that have prior approval may use the equipment.  Dogs not approved by Bob Kirkbride or Kathi Seaman but allowed on the equipment by their owners will be asked to leave and any rental fee paid will NOT be refunded.

1.  Dogs approved and training on the agility equipment have priority.

2.  If you notice someone is waiting please limit your session to 20 minutes.  When that person is finished (20 minutes) you can resume training the original dog or another dog.

DO NOT -

Allow your dog to pee on ANY equipment.  If it is allowed to happed more than once your dog will not be allowed off leash.  If it happens on leash your dog will not be allowed back (no refund of rental fee).

Turn your dog loose when another dog is in the field.

Allow your children on or in any of the equipment.

DO -

Potty your dog outside of the field prior to going in.

Pick up after your dog (both inside and outside of the field).  There is a pooper scooper in the field under the tree to the north.  The bucket with the long handled lid is the proper disposal container.  You may also dispose of bagged poop in this container.  the garbage can is for GARBAGE.

Close both gates (2) when leaving, check to see that they are closed/locked prior to going in if your dog might leave.

HAVE FUN!!!!!!
